Two 14-Year-Olds Hurt in E-Bike Hit-and-Run [St. Clair Shores]

A St. Clair Shores e-bike hit-and-run left two 14-year-old boys injured Monday evening, June 15, 2026, after a vehicle struck them while they were riding their e-bikes and fled the scene. The two boys — identified by their mothers as Jayden Brasfield and David Fluary — were riding their e-bikes when a dark-colored SUV ran a stop sign, struck them, and continued east on Recreation Street without stopping. Both were taken to a hospital with injuries. According to the mother of one of the boys, the injuries included abrasions, bruises, hematomas, and a possible LCL tear in one boy’s left knee. Both were released from the hospital following treatment. St. Clair Shores police were canvassing the neighborhood on Tuesday, speaking with residents.
